The Eagle Has Landed

It was almost 80 before 8am.....and muggy.

All I wanted to do was stay in front of a fan, but I made myself pick some berries
 spinach and lettuce.

Gary bought a new air conditioner for upstairs as it was 82 degrees inside!!!!
He thought it was a good idea to leave all the windows open!
Yikes!
Open them at night....close them during the day!
And tonight it is still near 80 and muggy.
At five I went out and hosed Berlin down.
All the girls got cooled off and put in their stalls early.

I can't stand this kind of weather and this evening Gary thought it was just ducky!
He must like to suffer.
Dinner was fruit salad on plain Greek yogurt topped with walnuts.

Just before sunset I headed to the Airport as Ariana was flying in tonight from Boise.

Her flight from Philly was about an hour late.

So here we are...sitting in front of a fan catching up.
Always love it when she can come for a visit.
It's been a long day.
Night all.
