Music to My Ears

Chilly but gorgeous!

After chores I went for a bike ride and it was pretty windy.
Took along my Kindle and listened to my latest book.

A group of bikers passed me when I was almost home.

Before lunch the pups and I took a quick trip down to Oak Orchard to pick up a couple pair of glasses I had repaired...
our second stop was at Tractor Supply.

They like the ride and they like coming home.
I picked some rhubarb and made Rhubarb Betty.

At 5:30 I drove down to the Baptist Church
as I volunteered to drum for a couple of songs
at the Sweden Senior Singers/Brockport High School Choir Concert.

Gary and I were in this Chorus for several years.
This is the Director, Maryellen Giese.
First we had a half hour rehearsal with the High School kids.

Took a break,
then went back in for the performance.  The place was packed.

This is Liz Banner, the Director for the High School Choir.

There are over 100 kids in this choir, and most of them were here tonight.
Amazing voices.

I think is the very best concert I have heard when these
two groups have worked together.
The sun was setting on my way home.

It's late.
Night all.
