A gorgeous day....78 degrees and sunny.
The roofers were back on duty by 8am and after a mid day break, did not leave until 8:30pm.
The job should be finished tomorrow.
These is a hunk of the old rotten wood that must have been under the shingles for ages.
Our house was built in 1823.
Gary finished his walkway by noon and then spent the rest of the afternoon working in the gardens with Elliott. They made some real progress.
I took a quick trip down to Wegmans and ran into Max and Wego. Such an adorable pup.
He had just picked her u p from the goomers.
Jenny, Scott, Finn and Coop were coming up for dinner so I got everything prepared so all we had to do was create the toppings for three pizzas.
We had many options. Onions, peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni, sliced plum tomatoes,
Greek olives, asparagus and cheese.
The pizza below was loaded with all of the above.
Scott was a little more conservative with his creation.
Jenny put together one for Finn and Coop with just pepperoni and cheese.
Scott made a big salad and we were ready to eat.
The crust was thin and very crispy.
We all ate a LOT.
Night all.
I really need a nap.
Looks like another great day at your homestead. The pizzas all look great to me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, the walkway, a picket fence, umbrella and chairs all waiting. yummy food to finish off, as always.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks perfect. Wow! One day I am going to get some stones and make a walkway to my porch!
ReplyDeleteI can understand why you'd need a nap - What a busy, full and productive day! :-) The pizza creations all look delicious, and a perfect way to end the day!
