After spending 2 1/2 hours doing chores this morning, the rest of the day was spent off duty.
I had thawed out some pork tenderloin and invented a new dish.
Caramelized onions, apples, turnips, soy sauce, balsamic vinaigrette, salt and pepper.
Karen arrived a little after 4 and let the horses back out.
By then it had stopped snowing and we were enjoying some sunshine.
Gary took a well deserved nap with Little Wonder.
Needless to say, the light coming into the house made me feel a lot better.
I had an appointment to have a stint removed today, but it was cancelled due to the driving situation. We were still in a state of emergency.
Now I will see my primary tomorrow and the urologist on Friday.
Dinner was delish.
We may actually have a sunset!
Night all.
LW and Gary have the best spot. Hope the next appts. go well and the next surgery much easier then the previous one. Huge drop of snow, I cannot imagine how you manage to do the outside chores.
ReplyDeleteLW and Gary look very comfy together. We got 24 inches at the barn. Hope you get your toads cleared and are able to get to the doctor. Snow causes a lot of work doesn't it?
ReplyDeletehope you feel excellent soon!
ReplyDeleteWow that's a lot of snow!!! So glad you're feeling better. :)
