It was raining this morning....again, so the girls were put outside while we cleaned the stalls and set them up for the duration.
They were happy to be back in an hour later.
Gary and our friend Randy left at 10:30 for the Erie County Fairgrounds (Buffalo).
They are getting itchy for spring and gardening, so they checked out Plantasia.
The place was packed with thousands of people.
I, on the other hand, stayed out of the rain and binged on Netflix
(Grace and Frankie).
I also serenaded my buddies for an hour, playing my uke.
Karen was here after 2 and turned the horses out as it finally stopped raining.
I decided to experiment with another pizza in an iron frying pan, and started by
grilling some asparagus that I had par boiled and marinated.
We had a big container of cherry tomatoes, so I cut some of them up.
Spreading the dough and letting it sit seems to work well, so that was done
before I sauteed the onions.
( Little Wonder wanted to assist)
Once the onions started to caramelize, the tomatoes were added.
I put the frying pan in the oven for a few minutes to give the dough a head start
(brushed it lightly with a little olive oil).
Then I started building.
Served it with a salad and it was delish!
A little before six LW, Phoebe and I went out to do evening chores.
Talk about a swamp!
Tomorrow we should get more rain but temps in the 50s.
I'll take it.
Night all.
Leave the skis at home and go in the kayak!!! Yummy meal.
