A very comfortable morning. Started off a little grey but did not stay that way.
My outdoor arena has been a real bust in the grass growing department...decided to have it worked up again so it's usable.
So much better!
Gordy went over it two times, and now that I have a decent drag it can be maintained.
Yesterday I moved the wagon over to the driveway.
Eventually we will be drying and selling garlic there.
Had my second and last Blue Apron delivery today.
Unloading it was just as much fun as it was the first time.
I'm so impressed with the ingredients.
Here is the recipe I used tonight.
About the only thing in bloom right now is the iris, and they are just beautiful.
This afternoon the girls spent some time in the indoor.
The three doors were open and they had a nice breeze goin' with no bugs.
I had a meeting tonight so dinner was on the early side.
Potatoes/onions/green peppers coated with olive oil, salt, pepper and some special spices.
Roasted in the oven.
Shaved beef with spices and a demi-glace.
pickled veggies
provolone and sub rolls (nice)...
and voila! Chicago Style Roast Beef subs with roasted and pickled veggies.
Tasted great and something different.
After dinner Gary started planting peppers and tomatoes in the garden. He got home much earlier today.
He'll probably start on the onions tomorrow.
The girls got tucked in a little early.
Those early evening gnats drive them nuts.
by 6:45 I was out the door.
Night all.
We think we are moving in after seeing all those pretty pictures

The iris's are beautiful. We gave my favorite blooming right now, the lilacs. They sell wonderful. Your arena loos good. Just got done dragging two of ours. What a mess they were. Your dinner loos delicious.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great arena! My sister has an indoor and an outdoor, and she does a lot of showing. Me? I have none of those, but I do have a round pen!
ReplyDeleteMy irises are getting ready to bloom!
