Yet another gorgeous morning and once again, I woke up at 5:30.
Right after chores I mowed the lawn. The grass is green and the gardens are bursting.
At 11:00 I went down to the Village Hall to judge a poster contest for an event coming up.
Low Bridge High Water.
It's the third year and celebrates the opening of the canal for the season.
Chores around 7. Looked like rain, but so far it hasn't happened. We could actually use some.
Got the girls tucked in....
then we had dinner.
Another spinach salad and leftover pasta.
Night all.
8:20 and still 69 degrees!
Same weather here too, and everything is really turned green all of the sudden, and blooming. Your flowers are really beautiful, and I glad you're enjoying it, you've earned these days!
ReplyDeleteTulips galore, and stunning pink ones, against green, green grass. Suddenly you are in the "real spring" time.
ReplyDeleteWe're enjoying the same weather. Love your willow tree, it's beautiful. So nice to see green for a change and colors after so many months of white and gray.
ReplyDeleteLookin' good:):) Hug B
ReplyDeleteI rowed that canal a few times... low bridges, high water. I know that experience in spring.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! I love the willow tree. I don't think I have seen a shot of your place from that angle before. Very nice!
