Too Cold For Comfort!

7 degrees this morning with plenty of wind and a windchill at least 10 or 15 below 0.
The girls were out for a little over an hour
and we put them back in their stalls.  Who wants to hang out in a wind tunnel?

 Lovely, wasn't it?

Phoebe, Gucci and I made a quick trip down to Tractor Supply for some grain.

The parking lot was piled high.
Let the girls out around 2:30 and cleaned the stalls again.

The sun was out and the temperature was in the low 20s.

The plows left a mess at the end of the driveways.  Icy and heavy.  Gary was kind enough to clean them up before dinner.
Karen did chores...thank you very much!
 Leftovers and a veggie salad.

Time to get back out to the fire.
19 degrees.
Night all.

  4. I hope some warmer temps come your way soon. It was 12 here this morning, but supposed to warm up a LOT!
That wind can ruin a perfectly good sunny day and make it so miserably cold feeling.

  6. Oh my goodness, you have got A LOT of snow!! The horses rugs looks wonderfully warm...do they have another layer under them, or not. Our daughter's got loads of rugs for her horse, and sometimes layers them when it is very cold (not all the rugs at the same time I hasten to add, lol ).
