Gucci Is Making A Comeback...

Just what I need....to go into a deep freeze for the next couple of days. -20 by tomorrow night.  Great!  I cancelled my class today, as my students don't need to hang around me hacking away.  That's two in a row...never happened before (over the past 13 years).

Gucci was nice and quiet last night, so I was able to get some sleep.  She even wanted to go do chores this morning, but it was way too cold.
Instead, she sacked out in one of her beds in the kitchen.
When I got in from chores, look at what I found on the couch.
It is 1 and a half times bigger than a marble and feels like a stone.  I have a strong feeling that it is the last part of the blockage that the Doc could not get out yesterday.  She is acting quite normal now and has no restrictions.  Let's hope it stays that way.  I want to thank all of you for sending me kind words, which I passed on to Gucci.
Today I actually went to Wegmans for the first time in a couple of weeks.  Also picked up some bedding at Tractor Supply and dropped my find at the Animal Hospital.  Really felt quite a bit better, tho my cough is still hanging on.

I think the girls are going to be spending a little more time in the barn tomorrow and Thursday.

Made dinner.  BBQued chicken, roasted sweet potatoes and a cucumber salad.  Also made chicken soup for tomorrow.  I must be getting better.

Now it's time to put my feet up.
Night all.

  2. Glad your sweet girl is feeling better. Our horses are in all day tomorrow and most of Thursday morning with extreme wind chills. And of course Dawn was in most of yesterday and today - she's much more sensitive to the cold, even when heavily blanketed.

  4. Sounds like you and Gucci are on the mend. Hope that cough goes away and that little nugget is the culprit and she'll be fine now. Freezing here too.
