I woke up at 5am and could not get back to sleep. Guess I was thinking about everything I needed to take down to the library.
I am so grateful that Gary is still helping me with chores.
Arrived at 10am to set up the show. Everyone was there to help and it's looking pretty good.
Just need to get the refreshments and a couple of other things set up before the 1pm opening tomorrow.
Here's another sneak preview...ignore all the reflections in the glass, please.
This quilt (hanging) is like our logo. Many years ago each student created a square and Connie B. put it together for us. It says "Skoog Farm Workshop" in the middle and goes wherever we are showing.
5 of us went to Java for lunch afterward. I was in desperate need of an outing and a Greek Panini.
Amy (self portrait in the show) kept us entertained with stories from her painting class.
What a sense of humor!!!!
Not too productive when I got back to the farm.
Chores at 5. It's staying light later!
Actually made dinner.
Homemade pizza and a salad.
I am so whipped (and still coughing).
Night all.
Don't forget the opening tomorrow.
Him sure your show will be a huge success. Good luck!

Happy New Year, Lori and Gary. I wondered if you'd be well enough to do the Library Exhibition; I'm glad that it seems you are. Love the sneak preview and I look forward to reading all about it. Have a great weekend. Jo
