Morning...melting, mist and mud.
Gary and I spent part of the afternoon painting Christmas cards. We put tape around them so there is a boarder. When I took it off, mine was upside down.
Gary still has to add snow to his....
mine is just plain backwards.
At 4 we left for the New York Room at the college, where the chorus had a performance for the retired teacher's (Brockport School District) Christmas party.
Karen had chore duty.
So interesting. My first teaching job was in this building and the cafeteria occupied this space.
A glass of wine was being delivered to our director.
One of the guests had on this tie and these socks. Perfect for the occasion.
The dinner was excellent.
Afterward we had a warm up in the Resource Room...
The woman below was a student at Brockport High School and she sang with Maryellen many years ago. She came to the US to have her baby, and will be returning to Ghana next week. She was invited to sing this piece with us, and her voice added so much!
"Dwell in the House"
We performed on a stage that is on the east end of the room, and the acoustics were outstanding.
Sounded great! Now we have a break through mid-January.
Night all.
hee hee that is the sort of thing I would do. Paint on the card upside down. The cards look great though. So do your lovely horses. Must have been good to catch up with your old teacher friends.
ReplyDeleteLove the paintings, right side up or upside down. I recognized the banner photo as one of Gary's . . . right? xx
ReplyDeleteFun, start to finish :-D.
