Most of today was above freezing....I'll take it.
Gary and I had a couple errands to run so we went to the Millhouse for lunch.
When we got home I spent the afternoon working on a flyer for our upcoming art exhibition.
We will have work at the Seymour Library during the month of January....
and our opening is on Saturday, January 3rd from 1-2:30pm.
Before I knew it, it was time to do evening chores.
Got cleaned up and we were off to the Town of Sweden Bicentennial Ball.
It was held in the ballroom at the college and the band (Nik and the Nice Guys) was fabulous.
We sang every song.
Danced.
Talking was not easy as the band was so loud (so we sang instead).
The committee that worked on this did an outstanding job.
The food was delish and everyone seemed happy with the whole evening.
Our Town Supervisor was there in his tails.
Night all.
That function looks great; glad you sang along and danced.
ReplyDeleteNice! I just got back from a trip and it is gloomy and foggy. The snow is all gone, so we are left with patches of icy snow and brown brown colors.
ReplyDeleteA bit dreary.
Those oldies make the night go fast, your throat hoarse and feet tired.
ReplyDeleteThat Ball looks like a fantastic time!
