The sunrise was beautiful.
Before starting chores, I had to go on the hunt for Abbe's mask. Don't know how she gets it off when the velcro is still attached. Lots of dew and soaking wet out in the pasture.
Spent 10-11:30 at chorus and after that just worked on the meeting for tonight. Was able to pick up the 2015 Town Budget and looked that over.
Gary and I got down to the Senior Center at 6:30 and there were people waiting to get in! A good sign. More than 100 showed up and I could not have been happier.
Pam was there to record the whole thing. Can't wait to see it. Many thanks for doing this!
Chet (the Bread Man) and one of our committee members brought bread for everyone. He is a champion at paying it forward....acts of kindness every single day.
The committee members outdid themselves and the questions were very relevant. I think the Town Supervisor was very pleased with the format and content. Hopefully we can use this as a stepping stone to keeping the Center in this building. More dialogue with the Town Board is imperative....and it sounds like we will have that opportunity.
The quilters at the Center produced this gorgeous piece and are raffling it off.
I sure am happy with where we are at this point!
Night all.
Good progress on the senior center. I love that shot of the pasture. So peaceful.
ReplyDeleteEverything is beautiful, specially the quilt. I do hope the meeting and all that will carry on from it is a huge success. Sleep well. Cheers,Jean.
ReplyDeleteLooks like all the hard work will pay off for everyone. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteIt's always a mystery to me how they lose those masks too. I find them all over the place.
Ok woman, that's our regular schedule BOL
