No Biggie...

Needed a sweatshirt this morning and was just sweating this afternoon.

After chores I worked on a few things for our meeting this afternoon (Saving the Senior Center) and then went for a trike ride.  I'm getting in a groove, but was smart enough to not overface myself today.
The sides of all the country roads seem to be covered with these two flowers.

Gary is working on a stand for selling flowers...in the meantime it looked like Charlie Brown put this together.  Oh well...he sold some!
Did not get home from my meeting until 5 so we decided to split a Cubano down at the Stoneyard.
 The Canal was very peaceful....

I headed back to the farm and Gary had his 2nd meeting of the day.
Karen did chores and I made a few phone calls.
Supposed to be 90 tomorrow, then cool down (can't wait).  Like Annette out at Oak Creek Ranch in California, those hot days of summer are not my favorite.
Night all.

  2. We're still in the 90s during the day too. Ugh. Sure do love the cool mornings though!

  3. Hi Lori, Gary's flower stands are quaint; glad you got some flowers sold. To your comment on my post about the fences: although the children are our neighbors, we don't live in our SA home permanently! While we're there, little Joel (4 1/2) comes over regularly and sometimes his little sister, Abby, comes with the nanny. Meanwhile, our widowed friend, Rina has moved in and looks after everything for us. The children and grands LOVE her and Joel spends most of his time with her! Have a great day!

  7. Dear Lori, to a recluse like myself your days seem so full. I find myself more and more as time passes simply lying on the couch reading. I need to stir myself and get back to writing. Peace.

  9. You'd love it here today - our high was 58.
Hey, I'd stop and buy flowers!

  10. Love your "still life with cats" :-D. It was supposed to be cool here today (finally) but they lied. 85! Which IS cooler, but not 80 like I'd counted on.
