Still on the cool side. Only 53 when I got up this morning.
After chores I went down to Sally's. Gary stuffed the trike in my car so she and I could go on her first ride on the canal path.
It's a perfect place to ride and the view is great.
After Sally went home, I decided to do a little more riding in the village.
Passed some nice gardens, then ran into Sara on Main Steet. She has missed riding her bike so I let her try mine. Maybe she will get one too.
Left Sally's and went to Wegmans before going home to mow, mow, mow. The grass is still growing like crazy. Also picked some yellow beans and made some potato salad for dinner.
Before I knew it, it was time to go down to the Welcome Center for our performance. It was cold, windy and rain was on the way.
We decided we'd gamble on getting an audience and went over to the Strasser Studio on campus. This is where we practice on Saturdays and because it is part of the Dance department it was a perfect space. Gary stayed at the Welcome Center for awhile and kept sending people over.
Many showed up and really got into it. By the end, we had kids drumming and dancing and some adults even participated.
My videos won't load....error error error. Boooo.
Home late. Had lots of fun doing this. Next Friday we perform at SUNY Brockport for the Convocation.
Night all.
You always pack a lot into one day!
ReplyDeleteThe drumming sounds like fun.
We've been in the mid 40s a few nights. I hate to see summer go.
ReplyDeleteBiking along the Erie Canal! What fun!
