Back in Business...

Busy, busy, busy....

After chores I decided to mow the lane so it would be nicer for trail riding.
This is how it looked before.
I went out about a mile into the back forty.
Much better when I was finished.

After that, I went down to Agape and had a very aerobic workout.  Day 4.
Made a quick stop at Weggies and when I got back to the farm, had 3 visitors within 5 minutes!
Roy up here from Tennessee (checking in), Topper (here for rhubarb) and Judy (looking for photos I had taken of her house).

I could not find the photos, so went down to Judy's to do a photoshoot as her house is going on the market.
Anyone want to move to Brockport?  This is a doll house.

Look at what Judy made us for lunch!  If you are a foodie, this needs to be on your list of things to make.!  Tomato Scallion Shortcakes with Whipped Goat Cheese.  Off the ever lovin' charts!!!!!

At 5:30 my friend Jackie and I headed into Rochester for a drumming gig.
First we stopped off for a quick dinner by the river.  I had part of a gift card that needed to be used and we took advantage.

At 7:15 we were over at Highland Park where a celebration was taking place in honor of Frederick Douglas.  They are trying to get lights for this beautiful monument.
Wain made arrangements for us to play at the event and we were happy to help him out.

Every time we do this, people want to dance.
Got home after 10 and am ready to crash.

  1. Wow Lori, you fit so much into your day! I've discovered a salad dressing here in Tanzania with Wegman's label and I think of you every time I use it! I love the Tomato Scallions. Will definitely try the recipe. Have a great day. Greetings, Jo
