A Very Busy Father's Day

Could not have asked for more beautiful weather.  High 60s.

Today the Farmer's Market opened, so Gary and I drove down to the Village after chores.
The only thing I bought was homemade fried cakes (which I shared with Jenny).

They actually had more vendors than I expected this early in the season.
Some friends who live around the corner from us were selling their maple syrup.
Gary bought a flat of marigolds...he likes to have them in the veggie garden.

There were a lot of strawberries there, but we don't need them as our organic strawberries are coming on like gang busters.

Went over To Java for some poached eggs on toast...

Many pups were on the scene.

One of my x-art students is opening a new shop in Brockport.
Her work is beautiful and I wish her well.  Many years ago she used to board one of her horses here.  Of course she does an amazing job photographing them.  You can check out her website for more info and beautiful examples.  www.KLoganphotography.weebly.com

We stopped at Wegmans on the way home, then Gary had duty at the Welcome Center.

I finished mowing the big pasture.

At 3 we drove over to Holley to watch Finn's baseball game.

Every year he keeps improving.  Really knows his stuff.

We sat with long time friend Elliot R.  His daughter Jen and our daughter Jen have been friends since they were very young and ended up being roommates at SUNY Fredonia.
This is their Father's Day portrait.
Planted a couple geraniums when we got home.  Then started to read and fell asleep.

Evening chores as usual.

More and more blossoms are appearing.  So stunning.

Night all.
