Splendifferous!

What a gorgeous day!
Due to snow on the ground, may I first present my flower pictures.  Gary was painting at Arjuna, our local florist shop, last night and he brought home this beautiful bouquet.  It definitely brightened up the kitchen.

Here is another example of art produced by Tina Eibl.
Tomorrow we are setting up the art exhibition at A Different Path Gallery.
 So sweet!

There was a fair amount of melting by this morning and a chill in the air.

Berlin still has hives but they are not any worse.
Last night I washed her sheet and put a little vinegar in the water so she could have something fresh on today.

Chorus at 10.  We were on a good roll.

This afternoon Mary Pat arrived for the night.  She is visiting from North Carolina and we spent the afternoon catching up.
I made an apple pie...
 and some homemade pizza.
She checked in on the computer while I went out to do chores.
So much more snow has disappeared.

Tucked the girls in and then we had a late dinner.
While Gary took a shower, Mary Pat and I were entertaining ourselves by trying to get the cork out of a bottle of wine.  Ha ha.
The pizza turned out very well.
HINT: if you want to have a very light and puffy crust, get your pizza ready and let it sit on the counter for at least half an hour before putting it in the oven.

 Finally got the cork out.
 Night all.

  1. It sounds like you had a wonderful time with Mary Pat. Its good to see her picture again on your blog. She had some nerve moving away. :) Pizza, apple pie and wine sound perfect to me.
