The wind sure made it feel cooler than it was all day long.
No sheets on the girls...they had to tough it out.
More and more flowers are blooming. Tomorrow we are getting a truck load of mulch to spruce up the gardens.
After morning chores the pups and I took a ride down to Country Max to pick up some shavings and wormer. Also invested in a couple new masks.
Once again I did not make it to History Club! Just can't get my act together. Waited for the tree guy to come and our lawn mowers were delivered after being serviced. Guess I need a wake up call. Don't think I am meant to be there.
Gary moved the rest of the brush late afternoon and the horses were all watching him.
Tucked them in just when it started to rain.
I did manage to make a decent dinner.
Salad, boneless pork with caramelized onions and carrots, and brown rice pilaf.
Spent part of the day communicating with Susan Smith, as she created a poster for JazzFestWest. If you live in the area, don't miss it.
How's that for a short post?
Night all.
Hi Lori! Short or long, I always enjoy your posts and having that glimpse into your day! Glad your weather has been enjoyable--But I think our storms are headed your way-- We need the rain, so I'm not complaining about it. :-) Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm coming, in spirit if not in reality. Super poster, and the venue, all will be blooming in the garden by then, yard with gravel, horses shiny coats and bright eyes, I can see it will be wonderful. Cheers, Jean.
ReplyDeletePerfect. Hug B
