Sunday Stills Challenge - Murals or Graffiti

This was dedication day for a mural that was painted on the facade of our local book store. Can you find me in this picture? Several years ago I started a project called "Art Walks on Water" in an attempt to have a piece of art installed at each port or waterfront throughout the New York State Canal System (230 towns and villages).  At the same time, Mark M. started his project called "Mural Mania."  Between us, we attended many canal conferences and town meetings and the result was....a bigger effort for communities to display public art.  I ran out of gas, but Mark continues to facilitate the addition of murals along the Erie Canal.
To learn more about this great project, google Mural Mania.  You may also find many posts and articles about Art Walks on Water.

  1. A great idea for all the ports on the canal. Love this mural. It's very well done.

I think I see you and Gary but I could be wrong. You don't have many pics of yourself on the blog since you're mostly behind the camera so it's hard to be sure.
