The Iceman Cometh....

A very weird day in the weather department.  Last night the temperature went up to 46 and a lot of the snow melted....actually had some grass showing.  By this morning the wind really kicked in and the temperature started to drop quickly.  Eventually we had a little sunshine and by 4pm the predicted "blizzard" blew in.
All the girls have sheets over their winter blankets and they managed to handle the weather until late afternoon.

A good night for homemade vegetarian lasagna.

Took a long hot shower in case the power goes out.  Hopefully we won't get the 3 feet of snow expected in Buffalo.  Not looking forward to a windchill of -30 tomorrow morning, the girls are going to be spending more time in the barn.
I think we've got it bad....one of my blogging friends said it was -51!  The whole country is out of whack.  Stay warm and please watch out for the animals.
Night all.

  2. We're thinking about you and hoping the storm - and subsequent cold - leave quickly.
