Christmas Eve Eve

Today we had rain, sleet, sun and snow.

I was amazed to see how much water had been absorbed in the big pasture (that was totally flooded yesterday morning).

Around 11 I drove down to Weggies to get the rest of the food I need for tomorrow night's dinner.  Gary went out to start cleaning up the remains of the willow tree.  When I got home, Scott's truck was in the driveway and 99% of the debris was cut up and stacked.
With two of them working, it was a done deal in under an hour!  Thanks Scott!

This afternoon I made Swedish meatballs and attempted to get organized.

Chores at 5.

At 6:30 we arrived at Pam and Greg's for a Christmas Eve Eve Dinner.  Nice to spend some time with Pam's Mom...our good friend Sally, and many other folks from the neighborhood.
What a meal!

You would have loved taking a tour of this beautiful home.

 Excellent food and great chatter.

Home by 11.  The pups were waiting.

And to all, a good night.
