This morning it was sunny one minute and cloudy the next. Ariana surprised me and came out to help with chores. We were all still tired after staying up so late when she arrived. I put her in front of a fan and the shredder for starters. Last night Finn and Coop stayed with us, and of course they slept in. I had most of the lawn mown before we decided it was nice enough to go swimming over in Christina's World. Ahhhhhhh. It felt so good. Roger and Tina were looking forward to seeing Ariana, but she ended up staying at the farm as she did not feel well. She went on a run down the lane and I think her allergies really kicked in. Next time.
We are so lucky to have this beautiful pool available to us. Roger and Tina are very generous.
Once again, their flowers are off the charts.
When it was time for me to leave, Coop said he wanted to go to the farm so he could help Grampa dig out the garlic.
We have an outstanding crop this year.
I finished mowing the lawn and went in to read for awhile. (The Last Original Wife)
Yep, I fell asleep.
Out to do evening chores at 5:30.
The horses spent one heck of a lot of time in the run-in near the fan today, as there was a river of pee in there. Why do they want to make it their toilet????
We are starting to get the barns together. Still have to scrape and wash some windows and get a little white trim going.
We had a very satisfying dinner. I think Saint Tim might have eaten the salad. No fruit.
I'm sure Saint Stephen Andrew would have liked it too. (No Sara, I won't leave out Saint Tim...after all he is almost a celebrity).
Veggie burgers with cheddar cheese, fried onions and pickles...peas from the garden and the salad. Big YUM.
Night all.
What a full day from start to finish! Your garlic really is beautiful as are your amazing flowers, and dinner is always in a class by itself--Yummy!! :-)
ReplyDeleteYet another lovingly presented set of images and commentary[along with the cool beans next to last]. Your Header shots continue to impress me!
