One more time...Jen stopped what she was doing to come up to the farm to groom the horses and soak Abbe's leg. As tho she does not have enough to do.
While she and Gary were out doing chores the skies opened up...
Some serious rain.
Within half an hour the sun returned.
Today I think I started turning the corner. Did not take as many pain pills and am able to get around better. Using a cane part of the time and going out to see Berlin and Abbe was the best medicine (Brett, you were right). I even made dinner. Breaking down scar tissue is the most difficult part of this whole process. Your encouragement and concern has given me a lot of strength. Thank you so much for being there. Only other blogging pals can understand what it means to have friends all around the world who can truly become a part of my everyday life.
Thank you thank you......
Great looking shots. Hope you are well.

ReplyDeleteHi Lori, when you have been in pain, had surgery, are disabled for a while, you truly gain so much from friends, who care, help, support and encourage. And with blogging friends, this is our way to show we care, even if not right there to be able to do practical things.Times like this, really true friends are better than any meds.(meds also needed prn for pain) Cheers from Jean.
ReplyDeleteEarly days yet Lori. You're doing well. Don't try to hurry things. The scar becomes steadily less visible with the passage of time.
