A LITTLE R AND R

 Testing....testing....

I'm still trying to get my old camera to work.  Got about 8 out of 20 shots.
In the mid 30s this morning with the prediction of winds gusts over 40 mph.

We alternated between blue and grey skies.

It was one of those days.  Gary got a fire going in the kitchen....
and I decided to make some red lentil soup.

After that, Phoebe and I cooled it on the couch for much of the afternoon.

I caught Sidney on the back porch.  A rarity.
Gary planted two 40 foot rows of spinach today.  In a couple weeks he will plant more.
Once it has grown, we have spinach salad every night.
I called him in around 6:15 to have leftovers for dinner....
a fresh salad with pears, apples and craisins.

Out to put the horses in around 7:30.

 A beautiful sunset.

Night all.

  4. We've had some of the same windy weather and it was 28 degrees this morning. It looks like all the plants that have come up all survived though. That soup is giving me some ideas of what to make for dinner tonight to take off the chill.

  5. Read your Easter post too. Everything looked delicious. A nice day, sorry your knee hurt but that will be done with soon.

We had some crazy wind here too. Sounded like being in a wind tunnel. Great pictures as always. Glad you and the pup got to relax on the couch for a while.

  6. Your salads always look so wonderful -- true confessions: I copy them a lot. I haven't been brave enough to add banana yet though.
