THANK YOU....

First, I want to thank all my blogging pals for the sweet comments about Bermuda.  Do you ever wonder how we all get connected?  And... to people that share so many of the same interests and values....  I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have "met" you.  Now if we could all get together it would be perfect!

Lily, the keeper of the barn, was waiting for me this morning.
The sun was bright right off the bat.
Breezed through chores so I could get ready for chorus.

Lily, Sidney, Seymour, Phoebe and Gucci were all out in the back pasture with me and the girls.

 Can you believe that sky?
Are there a lot of crows where you live?  We have quite a few around here.
A good rehearsal today.  Greg was at the piano....
 Woody had his guitar,
and I was playing my drum.  Such fun.....
 The temperature was 65!
Too beautiful to stay in, so I grabbed Abbe and we did a little work.  More ground poles and some light lunging.
 See how she stands?
Yet when she walks and trots it is not too bad.  All those videos I have been posting....she moves pretty darn well.  Still hitchie when she walks out in the morning and no problem when she comes in for the night.  Obviously, moving around works something out.

After we finished, I dragged the indoor (had to get it ready for Jill....we have a beautiful 4 or 5 days coming up).

The late afternoons are hard to resist as the light comes in the west windows.

Gar made a quick trip to Brockport and I made dinner.
The Skoog Farm version of a "garbage plate."
A veggie burger, baked beans, coleslaw and roasted potatoes, parsnips and onions.

Sophie saw us coming out to do evening chores and hid under the wheel barrow.
Lily and Seymour went into the grooming room with me.
Tucked those ponies in around 6:30.
It's going to be earlier on Sunday night....don't forget to change your clocks.

 Back in the house.
Night all.

  6. I made cole slaw today too! How funny... Abbe does look better when she trots -- maybe a slightly shorter step with that one hind but looking pretty good. I love the black around her fetlocks (looks kinda like muddy legs in a cute way).

  7. Sorry for Bermuda. Such a tough decision but it was the only one to be taken. You have been courageous in helping him until the end.

    See you soon

  8. Yea, getting together for a ride ,chat, meal, would be fabulious!! I love all my longtime friends here in bloggerville...You all have seen me through some rough patches.
Hope you are happily rememoring your sweet Bermuda catty~

Abbey does a a little hitch in her giddyup...I have been doing a lot of stretches with mine to get her over her nerve pressure problems in her neck and back from our saddle issues. She is doing well and I find that it helps to do them before I ride. she enjoys it too.

Seymore is such a gorgeous kitty...what a hunting leopard he is, on that fence!!

Hope today is as gorgeous as yesterday! We have a bit of bright happening!
