FROM THE HIGH 60S TO POURING RAIN...

 The recent groove...
 is to go from....
 brilliant....
sunrises... to grey days.  It was so warm I decided to chop down some of the weeds by the stone wall.

Then I dragged the indoor and one more round on the outdoor.

All the water that sat on it for a month made it harder than usual.  AND!!!! tonight it got rained on.
What else is new.
The girls spent most of the time in the pastures.  During the late afternoon they come in for a bite of hay...almost every single day.

Interesting things have been going on with the kitties.
Two days ago Lily came up to the back porch, and last night Sophie was there.  Now they need to figure out the basement before the snow flies.  It's nice and warm down there.
The Bird of Paradise is in full bloom....

Went to the bank and Weggies, then started on dinner.  Homemade pizza.
Sauteed onions, peppers and onions and let them rest.
Forgot that Jill was on chore duty tonight.  Where is my brain.  Had a visitor who came over for a tour of the barn etcetera.  By then it was raining and we each had a gigantic umbrella.  The ponies were ready to go in.
When I got back to making dinner, the dough had risen like crazy.
Put everything together and popped it in the oven.
Made a quick salad and then it was time to eat.
Man oh man!  The dough fluffed up big time!  I slid it off the pan onto a cutting board and we chowed.
That's all folks

Night all.

  3. That Bird of Paradise is spectacular! I got about 90+ of your garlic in. I split it with Mary Anne. Can't wait to see it take off in the spring. Your indoor is so wonderful....

  4. Wow - look at that pizza!! Mmmmmmm. And the bird of paradise is perfectly showy, too. Sometime maybe you will show us a pic of what you use to 'drag' the indoor & outdoor with . . . Maybe Gar will take a pic of *you* doing it.
