Up and at 'um.
Not only was it a beautiful morning, the whole day was gorgeous.
In the meantime, the ponies were off and running after they ate their grain.
In my neighbors back yard....the twinsiebobs....Sidney and Lily. I had not seen Lily in days.
My dining room rug is still hanging on the picket fence...should be dry by now.
Gary had Welcome Center duty and I had drumming at the farm. Too hot on the Studio deck (80 today) so we picked a shady spot. The chairs kept sinking into the ground.
Deb invited some friends out to work with us today.
Drumming with a Caribbean flair.
Totally different from African drumming.
A very talented group...
We drummed 'til 5.
After everyone left, I managed to pull together a dinner.
Check out the size of this tomato....
Went out to put the ponies in after we ate.
When I was picking the pasture I found this huge mushroom...the size of a small cantaloupe.
Tucked those babies in and am ready to put my feet up.
Night all.
I like to run after I eat too :-)

Those roaming kitties...glad to see them home...Sid sitting on your fence.
That's a lot of wood to stack...imagine splitting it!
It looks like you had a great day!
ReplyDeleteHi Lori, I enjoyed being "back on the farm" with you! (Wonders of modern technology) I've been away in South Africa and still getting back into visiting blogs. I loved your Caribean drummers. Very talented indeed. And what huge tomatoes and mushrooms you have on the farm! Blessings Jo
ReplyDeleteLooks like a grand day!
ReplyDeleteSeems like a lovely day. That's some tomato!
ReplyDeleteI thought that first tomato was a pumpkin! You've always got something interesting for us to see.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the video! That is a LOT of wood. I bet Gary was worn out after working on that stack.
ReplyDeleteYou ALWAYS manage to have a mouth watering meal....love it...drums...we need drums in our neighbourhood...me thinks!
ReplyDeleteThat an awesome pile of wood! Wish it was at my house. 30* and a fire sounds great.
