Another cool morning....I'm loving it. Didn't wake up until 7:20, which is extremely rare.
Class at 10:30.
Jean now has quite a collection of pen and ink drawings that have been made into cards.
Judy is back to work on her colored pencil drawing.
And Tina pulled out her drawing of DJ.
This afternoon Jill brought Ralph's daughter over to visit Belle.
They lounged her and finished up with a good grooming.
Such a beautiful girl.
Finn and Coop came up after camp and stayed for dinner. Then Gary drove them down to flag football practice.
I did chores and a little mowing. The front paddock has really filled in...the more I mow, the thicker it gets. Last year I used to drag it and it was more like the arena.
I did some rearranging in the tack room. Moved the cat's crate up on a shelf....the food too. Have a feeling the dogs may have been sneaking in there for a little snacking. Lily was in there within a couple of hours, and I took Newbie in to show her where the food was located. Still no Sophie. Where is she?
Turning in early. Out of gas....again.
Night all.
What a wonderfully busy successful day. Rest well.
ReplyDeleteI so hope Sophie shows herself soon.
ReplyDeleteMasterpiece is looking good.
A busy day for us too with that darn earthquake that got so many people excited. I lived in Alaska for 10 years, so for me, it wasn't really anything...
ReplyDeleteI do hope you're enjoying your evening--Don't you love the cooler nights? I also hope you see Sophie soon...Doesn't she know how we worry?
I do like that pen and ink drawing. Very nice.

7:20? I would have killed to sleep that late this morning. Belle is, indeed, a beautiful girl. I hope Sophie shows up soon. I'm getting worried.
ReplyDeleteI bet the pups were sneaking in there to eat. Dogs are smart like that! Everytime I hear about flag football I wish that I would have signed Lucas up. He would have loved (but as it turned out it was for the best as he would have had to quit when I left to be with Elijah). Hopefully next summer. Crazy how that field has filled in. Next summer it will be lush.
ReplyDeleteLove the art work. It's inspiring.
