BEFORE AND AFTER THE FESTIVITIES

 Same old same old.
Barb will only be here a couple more days.
I'm going to miss her and Mustafa.
Belle will move into his stall and will be very happy to work into the herd.

At 11 am I drove down to the Morgan Manning House for the traditional 4th Celebration.  You can see what happened there in the post below.

Home around 3:30 and relaxed.  Subs for dinner tonight.  When the crew arrived I had the menu choices on a clipboard and they had to fill in what they wanted.

The cupcakes I won in the Cake Walk are the ones on the bottom.

Gary squeezed in some time on the rocking chair he is getting ready for the "Take a Seat Auction" later this month.  It's going to be great.

Ariana and Daniela went out with me to put the horses in for the night.
 It was a beautiful evening.
After spending the past three nights at Jenny's, I think they were ready for some quiet time.
Time to hit the couch or bed or somewhere comfy.
Night all.

  1. Hello Lori and Gary. Life with FOUR of your grandchildren around you this summer sounds hectic and FUN.
    We're envious. Mike and Ann.

  3. Your pictures are great. Your farm is so pretty, lush, and green. The moon is a perfect ending to a lovely day.

Looks like you're back in your groove...cooking on all burners!

  5. We have a v. similar red rocker--Gar's is beautiful. And wasn't that a pretty crescent moon last night?
