A BEAUTIFUL DAY...

To have sunshine several days in a row...
 has been pure pleasure.
Barb and I flew through chores.  The sun had me moving.

It never got that warm, but I was willing to take it.

Gary had perfect conditions for painting his tool/potting shed.  By the end of the day 3 sides were primed.
No excuses.  A day for a bike ride.
I headed north out of the driveway and rode around the "block" (about 5 miles).  One big hill and a couple of grades...never got off my bike.
This time, I looked for trees in bloom.

 (and this sweet little garden)
Back home a little before 11.
Had lunch outside and read the paper.

Gary went to the Welcome Center for his Sunday duty and I vegged at home.
A little after two Brenda, Al and Tootsie Louise stopped by with a gift for Gary.  One of Al's carvings.

A Downy Woodpecker.

We all went out in the back yard with Phoebe and Gucci so the dogs could play.
Tootsie was ready and our dogs retreated...shy?
 Seymour was not intimidated.

Started working on dinner.  Jenny, Kevin, Finn, Coop and Nanna Pat were going to arrive by 4:30.

Jenny arrived early with the chicken and had a chance to sit in the sun with a glass of wine.
Before and after dinner the boys were busy outside.
Another big meal...2 days in a row!
Finn and Coop are both starting their little league seasons next week.
Kevin has taught them a lot about hitting, throwing and catching.

Jenny wanted a mother's day shot with the boys and their two Nannas.
When they left, I went out to do evening chores.

Attempted to watch "The Kings Speech" and fell asleep.  Too tired from all the recent activity.
Time to catch up.
Night all.

  5. Gorgeous day! Luv that sun and those blossoms and those kids and horses and dogs and cats. Hope you get to see all of King's Speech--we loved it, but maybe it plays better on the big screen.
