PONY...

This beautiful girl was treated by the Vet for colic today.  She is soon to be 31 (this was taken last summer) and has a 50/50 chance of making it until tomorrow.  Please keep her in your thoughts tonight.
She is the sweetest thing you could ask for.

8pm...just checked on her again...no manure, temp still up, respiration up, not going down or rolling.  I put her in the back stall so she could be next to Mustafa for company.  They walked around for awhile when I was out there...all day long she has been showing huge signs of heat and just now she was nothing but a big tease.  I don't get it.  She's off food 'til tomorrow morning...the vet said I can offer her a handful of something soft but no deal.  More banamine at 9pm.  It's going to be a very long night.

  1. Oh! Lori! Pony and you have been in my thoughts since I left Skoog Farm this afternoon. This picture that you posted has been in my head. 50/50 makes me very hopeful. I'll be thinking of you and counting on that sweet old girl to make it through this.
