WHAT DID I DO YESTERDAY?
A grey morning.
Sailed through chores.
There's Barb...picking the pasture!
Gary had already left for Java, and I drove down to the Market. I took all these pepper shots for Lisa over at The Laughing Orca blog. Not long ago she posted the New Mexico version.
This is how we grow 'um in New York.
Got home, took a shower and we were off to Corn Hill Landing for a photo shoot of the Flotilla (which was part of the World Canals Conference....see L O N G post below).
Our next stop was at the Alumni House back on the SUNY Brockport campus. Karen and Bernie had a party there to celebrate having lived in Brockport for two years. They love this community and wanted to share that with all of us. It was catered by the college and the food was fab.
By now I was tired! But, it was chore time and I went out to take care of the ponies. The sky was a lot different than it looked this morning.
As soon as they finished their grain, they all headed for the indoor....
where Pony insisted upon modeling for me.
The picture below was the view out of the back door (indoor).
Finally, I was done for the evening.
Then, it took me forever to upload the post below. Hope you enjoy it.
You have a super market there and a gorgeous pony.
ReplyDeleteYes, I thoroughly enjoyed the canal and all of the boats. You did a great job of recording the entire event. The bridge and skyline are terrific - they can be so proud of their city. And, yes, I'd say you were very lucky to be asked to join the fun. We may have some sleek speedboats here but nothing like you history and surrounding. Just beautiful and a delightful trip away from the farm. Thanks Lori!
ReplyDeleteAww Lori those pictures are terrific !!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a slow day to enjoy soon!
You sure have been a busy lady! How lucky are you to get to go on the boat?! Enjoyed the post about the canal.
ReplyDeleteSidney looks as if he is in training to be a Church bellringer!
ReplyDeleteWarm regards, Mike,
