BIKING AND DRUMMING...

Cool and bright!  Barb helped with chores and we were done by 8:30.  Record breaking!

When I got back in the house I called my friend Judy as we were going on a bike ride along the canal this morning.  Decided to stop off at the Farm Market first.  There has been live music for several weeks now...today it was 6 men singing acapella.  They were terrific in a Boys To Men kinda way.

The usual suspects were there...pretty soon you are going to recognize all my friends.

There's Linda (neighbor) selling baked goods...yum!

...and more peppers for Lisa at Laughing Orca.

We finally started our ride...headed toward Spencerport.  There was a lot of activity on the canal and bike path.

These two collies were sweethearts.  Many people were walking, jogging or exercising their pups.

Got back home a little before noon and started getting ready for the African Drumming, which started at 2:30.

Jeff Mann is the facilitator for this group.  He must have brought along a dozen drums.  Tonight I am starting a new blog about what we did and plan to do.  That way I can communicate with the participants directly.  Look for it on my sidebar...The Skoog Farm Drumming Jams.  It was a lot of fun and everyone seemed very happy with the experience.

Gary had duty at the Welcome Center so he missed out on the drumming today.

After everyone left, the pups were able to go back out and run around...

While I was cleaning up the Workshop, Barb returned and set things up for evening chores.  I'm telling you!  I have never known a person that is so perceptive and helpful...it was not her night to do this and she did it anyway.  How lucky am I to have her and King Mustafa here.

Gar worked in the garden transplanting strawberry plants and I made a quick dinner.

Sauted up some onions and peppers...at the end threw in some plum tomatoes...topped with a little olive oil and Romano cheese.  Simple. Quick. Delicious.

Soft pink skies tonight.  Once again, I am pooped.
Night all.
