PERFECT WEATHER FOR ME...

A nice, crisp morning.
After chores I went down to Wegmans as our refrigerator was rather bare. When I got back to the farm we ate lunch and I started to mow the lawn...the belt on the mower pooped out. The pups and I took a drive to the John Deere store and got a new one. Gary was very excited (as you can imagine) to stop what he was doing in the garden so he could put it on. Yey! He did it and I was able to finish mowing.

Around four, there was quite a bit of activity in the paddock, so I went out to grab some shots.

I don't know about you, but for me....60 degrees and sunny is great for being outside and having the ambition to do something.
The yard is really shaping up. Phoebe and Gucci thought so.
We ate dinner before chores. BLT sandwiches and lentil soup. Yum.
As soon as I got out to the Barn, King Mustafa stood in front of his stall. He must have been ready to go in.
First I picked the pastures they were in today...then they got their dinner. As you will see by looking at the post below...I have decided to get the lead out with this photography business.
Time to start learning more.

Night all.

  4. The kid next door does my lawn. Kid, yesh, he's in college now. It's not one of my favorite tasks. Today looks to be another beautiful one. Digging in the garden for me, prepping for mail order plants which should begin to arrive sometime next week.

  7. Love the weather when it's like this too. You took some wonderful pictures of the herd and scenery at your place today. The lawn looks beautiful, I love a fresh mowed lawn and the smell of it.
