SUNDAY STILLS CHALLENGE...GIVE ME YOUR TWO BEST SHOTS

I picked these two shots from 2009, but I probably have others that might be better. Since I started this Journal in February of 2008 I have taken an average of 500 pictures a week...that's over 26,000 per year (and they are all stored on CDs). I must be out of my mind! Do you wonder why my posts are so long?

I'm a morning person and this first shot was taken a little after the sun started to rise. I like it for it's composition and color...it really gives off the feeling of our farm.



This is a picture of our 29 year old pony, Babe's Opal. We call her Pone or Pony. I selected it as one of my best macro shots because of it's clarity and currently display it as my header.

    Those are great shots! I am partial to the second one. I live an hour west of Albany.

    me too took 30.000 photos last year.
    But this year I have started lightroom and that is a good program to organise your phoytos an dyou tag them so you can find them again.

    Very glad that you chose the shot of Pone's eye. It has been one of my favorites from your site also! My goodness, what those little eyes have seen in 29 years!

    I love both shots! And don't ever take fewer photos or do shorter posts - the posts are just the right length to cover your day and allow us to come along!

    The frosry lashes is a deffinate all time favorite..:-)
    p.s. I keep all my pics of portable harddrives, they are easy to use and hold a ton of pics I just got a 500gb one..:-)
