PART ONE OF THREE POSTS....

Early this morning it was in the high 20s...32 when I went out to the barn.

Check it out! The sky just got more and more beautiful...

Before long you could see the sun and the moon....but no stars.

Unfortunately, it never got over 42. The horse were out in the pasture all day...they did not care.

Today Phoebe was willing to venture out.

This is what Gucci does every morning when we go back to the house. She stands in front of the gate to the back yard so she can run in and catch some chipmunks off guard.

At 10 our chorus rehearsal started. We were pretty on today.

Went to the grocery store and headed for home. After part 2 (below) I went out to do evening chores...decided to put blankets back on as it is supposed to be pretty ugly tomorrow.

Our family was pretty disappointed in the results of the local elections after all the hard work that was put into it. If people don't want to get off their butts to go out to vote, there is not a thing you can do about it. However, life goes on and tomorrow is another day. It's not easy to live in a community that has had a one party system for 150 years. No room for checks and balances or a second opinion.

Now, I am going out by the fire. Don't forget to look at the next two posts for today (below).
Night all.

  1. Beautiful pictures. Those doggies are just too cute in their little coats.

  2. Man, I had this whole post I typed, but I didn't want to offend you on the political stuff so maybe I'll just email. The yard and horses (and sky) are as beautiful as ever.
