Unbelievable weather. Little Wonder and I were off to our usual, but different, start to the day because of the time change.
Finn came up at 10 to help us move around some stuff. We have had a freezer in our back hall for decades and even tho it is small, always took up too much room. As soon as I got up I emptied it out so it would defrost any bits of ice. It was filled with ice packs and homemade sauce...lots of it! It was very light and they moved it into Gary's barn. I kept a few bags in the refrigerator freezer and sent some home with Finn.
They also moved a couple of dog crates into the feed room and then started taking pallets out of the stall where I stored hay.
By then it was getting close to the high 60s and LW was panting.
Fortunately there were only 8, but they were a mess as hay was stuck to the boards.
Now they are out by the road on our lawn and I hope someone picks them up to be used as firewood or whatever.
When that was done I went for trike ride #41.
While I was gone, Gary picked over a quart of raspberries and now they are bagged and in the freezer.
We had turkey burgers on a piece of toast for lunch....
and spent the afternoon watching the Bill's game....which they won.
It's only 7:43 and I feel like it's 10.
Night all.
PS
The goings on in Michigan are very interesting. I hope it all backfires.
