This was one crazy morning. It rained last night and by this 8am I could hardly see out the windows to the north. 68 degrees. Last night we had our first fire and tomorrow we may wake up to snowflakes.
Before 8:30 we were getting severe thunderstorm warnings.
Fortunately it let up by 10.
Little Wonder and I decided to gamble on the weather and drove out to Glen Darach Farm to see Buddy.
Little Wonder headed straight for Andrea.
Buddy is very happy with his mini pal. Gave him some apples and carrots but did not groom him as he was very happy in the pasture.
Andrea and I talked for over an hour and LW was very patient. We headed back to the farm and got there a little before 1.
Tonight Jenny and Scott took us (and Finn) to Grampa Sam's to have a belated celebration,,,,Gary's birthday. It's been our go to restaurant for years and always satisfies.
Delicious. I ate half of my entree and hopefully my numbers were not too out of control.
We all had a taste of banana cream pie for dessert. Perfect. Definately ready for a nap.
