What Happened to the 15th?

I was so busy working on a political post last night I totally forgot to write in my Journal!  This is only the third day I have missed since starting over 20 years ago.  Anyway, I did not take very many photos yesterday.  At 12:30 I met 4 friends at 58 Main for lunch.  We hardly ever see each other, so it was a great time to catch up.

It was a beautiful day....on the cool side.

When I got back to the farm I made myself pick more strawberries.  Cleaned and froze them.

As for today.  It was a cool morning and I decided to go for a trike ride at 9:15.

We live on a major road and there is a lot of traffic....including big trucks.  Not too far from here is this sign (heading south) so I figured I would keep going, thinking there would not be too many cars.

The shoulder of the road narrows when I hit the next county, so I turned around and headed back.  We live in Monroe County.

I spent a little time in the house with my Buddy....

then we went out to the garden to pick more leaf lettuce.

and got in a walk/trike ride down the lane.

He trotted on the way out and

walked on the way back home.  He loves going out to the back forty.

Stephanie left a bag of party stuff here last year and I found strings of little flags which I thought would work very well on my trike.  Now people should really notice me!

I had leftover soft taco for lunch in the form of a salad.  So good.

Gary did not have yoga today but he did go out to lunch.  When he got back home he continued working on the gardens by the indoor.

So much better.

I could not let the strawberries go to waste and picked more.

Took them and a bag of lettuce down to Jenny's.

Today is her 56th birthday and she is in the home stretch of a political campaign that ends on this Election Day...(instead of being home celebrating).  Time to catch a break.

We just had sandwiches for dinner.
