Still cold here. We were up and at 'um this morning as we were going in to West Herr to discuss turning in my lease car and wanted to see what was available. First we made sure it was nice and clean just in case we found something.
At 10:30 I had a Chiro appointment and on the way we had to pick up frames from the photographer that took our photos for her show on June 5th. (We have to write something on the mats). Anyway, I made it on time. Big Bertha was chasing around the smaller fish today....never saw that before.
From there, we drove to Greece and ended doing something we had no intention of doing. Leased a Hybrid Forrester. It's a beauty. We shall see what impact it has on the amount of money we have been spending on gas and will be keeping track. It should get 580 miles on 1 charge and a tank of gas.
So much new stuff. Automatic phone charger (don't need to plug in) and a gazillion other things that I have to figure out.
I loved the car we turned in. It's still in excellent shape and should sell like hot cakes.
On the way home we stopped at Jenny's before crashing. We were busy from 9:30am to 5:15....running around.
Dinner had to be very simple and made from whatever we had on hand. So....a frittata. Sautéed peppers and onions, boiled potatoes, spinach, tomatoes, a little ham....and some grated sharp cheddar cheese.
Little Wonder wanted a taste.
It was so good.
Night all.

LW told me he stayed at home while you went to get new wheels.Looks like a huge upgrade and lots to learn and use, hope it makes life easier and your wallet will stay healthier!!!
ReplyDeleteThat will be great gas mileage for a Forrester! I see the CrossTrek hybrid gets a longer range than my CrossTrek too. Nice upgrade!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I would be overwhelmed by the tech.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new car! I'm thinking you are really going to enjoy the savings to be had from a hybrid. We have a plug-in hybrid Jeep. It will run totally on electric for up to about 45 miles. If we are tootling around home, our tank of gas can last a long time. However, we did learn that the car will demand that you use gas if it has been sitting there too long (in the opinion of the car!). Have fun!
