A Spa Day for Buddy

It was freezing this morning, but turned into a beautiful afternoon.

Little Wonder went out with me to pull some rhubarb for a customer.  Gary was in Albion picking up the painting he bought at the art show we went to awhile ago.
It sure is nice not to be looking out at the willow mess.
I gave Alice a call and she (and Little Wonder) went with me out to Glen Darrach Farm to see Buddy.
First I took him out for some grass, and then he got a grooming.

LW was a good boy the whole time and loved being with Andrea and Alice.

He still needs to put on some weight, but seems pretty happy.  Andrea is giving him all kinds of good groceries.

Andrea did some mowing this afternoon and all the horses were treated to some beautiful grass.  Buddy will be going out on pasture soon.

Late morning I made some potato salad so dinner was easy.  Gary grilled a couple of cube steaks, which I have not had in decades.
Night all.

  1. I'm so happy you still have a horse to care for. The weight comes off faster than it goes back on. Why isn't it like that for humans? We have cooled down some, which is very welcome. I don't even remember what a cube steak is. That's how long it's been for me.
