First Place

After tomorrow, we are going into a polar plunge.  Enough already!  Today the high was 23 and we had some sunshine.
Rebel is still having a tough time and the windchills are not going to help.
Little Wonder was game for morning chores.
Before going to bridge at the library I ran a few errands.  The last was to buy tickets for this concert that will be at the Tower Fine Arts Center (at the college) next week.  I love A cappella.
Terry was my partner at bridge and we came in first.  Home a little before 4:30 and got things together for evening chores.  I was late getting out as I was communicating with Spectrum about a streaming problem that finally worked out.   The remote needed fresh batteries.,,,,duh.
The temperature in the barn was almost 20. Tomorrow night it's going to feel like 15 or 20 below 0 with the wind and it will probably go down to 10.  Too cold!!!!

By the time I got the boys tucked in, it was almost dark.
Ice was hanging from the basketball hoop in the front paddock.
And here I am, riding my trike back to the house.....
French toast and sausage for dinner.  Perfect.
Night all.

  3. Brrrrrr! One thing about really cold weather that used to bring a smile to my face is the squeaky snow! (That which I could hear on your bike journey!) I have snowshoed to my barn before, but never biked.....but then again, at both barns I would have had to ride uphill on the way home. Ugh!

  4. Like Val, we are warming, but also having a bit of up and down temps. That's kind of cold for your part of the world. Get lots of wood inside.
