Still Vegging

Another crispy morning with wind.

Rebel and Buddy were outside until 2 and by then with the windchill it was -8.  Time for more hay and some warm water.

Gary went to yoga and lunch.  I held down the fort and definately have to get off this property tomorrow.  Have not been anywhere for days.
Turned the boys out at 5 and got their dinner ready.

Little Wonder was more than happy to stay in the house.
Good to get back by the fire.  Right now it feels like 1degree
The sky was a little different tonight.  The snow looked like whipped cream.

I did manage to make dinner.  Chicken and gravy over mashed potatoes and

a side of jello with carrots and walnuts.....1940 style.

I'm not looking forward to 10 more days of this weather.
Night all.

PS
Kudos to the citizens of Minnesota.  They are making a difference.

  1. We have 10 days of unseasonably cold weather - with possible flurries this weekend. We are not anywhere near what you are experiencing, but it is still darn cold for us.

  2. It’s cold in a good portion of the United States, surely people are worried how they’ll pay their heating bills, our country is a mess with thugs targeting who they chose to take down and call it immigration crackdown so I’m thinking 2026 isn’t off to a good start. Kathy

  3. Thugs. They pick on soccer moms, kids, teachers, schools, teachers, and unarmed people. They surely are going after the worst of the worst? They are going after immigrants in the north when the red states have a higher population of immigrants? Huh.

    1. Val, I wonder the same and are the plants in the Midwest that employ the undocumented being targeted too or is it just blue cities? Kathy

  4. I saw about 5 minutes of the bloviating in Iowa yesterday. Best economy ever. Rigged election. Greatest president this country has seen...blah, blah, blah. In the meantime UPS is eliminating 30,000 jobs. Amazon is eliminating 16,000 jobs, according to what information I found about 300,000 federal employees were let go in 2025. Sounds fabulous to me. Right.
BTW, the snow does look like whipped cream!
