We had another relatively mild day with a dramatic start.
No wind for a change.
I cleaned up the pastures after chores and when I put the John Deere back by the indoor, Rebel was on high alert. Finding music was a pain, so I just put on a little Blues Brothers with my cousin John.
Gary worked on the fence in the back pasture and I continued watching my Netflix series....by the fire (of course).
Chores at 5.
Tomorrow I am going to get another load of shavings. Would love to fill up this space.
The boys were more than ready to have dinner.
5:15 to the West.
5:15 to the East.
I roasted a chicken for dinner and hope to get a couple more meals out of it.

Ahhh, fresh shavings - such a great thing to smell, and to watch the horses walk through it. I love how you change dining locations

ReplyDeleteShavings! I recall the days of loading that up when I lived in an area where the only shelter from the fierce damp winds in Kenosha where in the barn.

I buy shavings in bulk. I like the bagged shavings but too expensive with multiple stalls. We were on the same wavelength. I also tasted a chicken last evening. I don't know what to think of what she is doing. I do know she has been getting a lot of threats.
