Spa Day and Music

Hello sunshine!  This was a much nicer day!

No black coat needed.

Alice arrived around 10:15 for Spa Day.  Buddy was on high alert again, and instead of getting groomed first I put him in a stall to settle down.  He did.

Rebel was sighing off and on as it felt so good.  Check out this photo....he and Little Wonder were both sticking their tongues out.

Buddy was muddy and he was not behaving for Alice, so his grooming was cut short and I finished him after she left.  Bad vibes.

They were both nice and quiet before getting turned back out.  Their Spa days with Alice might be over.

At 1:30 my friend Nancy came over.  She used to play the guitar and knows a LOT about music so we thought it might be fun to teach her to play the baritone ukulele.  We messed around in front of the fire for about an hour and a half.  She is a quick study and sure knows how to sing!  Good at harmonizing too.

When she left, I put together some corn chowder for dinner.

Tucked the boys in a little after 5.

You might know it was not cloudy.  So far I have totally missed the Northern Lights.

Dinner was delicious.

Challah bread and

leftover coleslaw (I know! A weird combination).
