Felt like 13 degrees this morning (but the temperature went up to 33) so off came the sheets and on went heavier blankets.
Fortunately the water trough was not frozen. I keep it covered at night and it really helps.
We decided to have dinner for lunch today and it was a replay of Thanksgiving.
That's why I'm not cooking tonight.
I listened to an interview with John Grisham this morning and since I have read at least 20 of his books (he has written 51 and they all have been best sellers)....
and was so motivated, I went down to the library and found this one. I have been out of my reading groove for at least 2 years. Maybe this will get me going.
Took a long nap this afternoon (lunch) and did chores at 5.
Gary moved leaves for over an hour and was ready to hang out by the fire....and I will be right out there getting warm after I post this.
Night all.

Probable my favourite author. I have read lots as well maybe not 20, I need to see if our library has that one, a good follow on from The Firm. Looks cold !!!
ReplyDeleteDS1 came to borrow some of his Dad's tools to use at his home in the coming weeks and to pick up the corn pudding I made just for him to enjoy. Our DIL doesn't like the corn pudding and her father who lives with them can have only liquids for meals due to cancer.
ReplyDeleteI sent some our sweet potato casserole (with pecans) to our DIL because she loves it and it will be a treat for her!
Our high today was 40*F and the low tonight is 20*F but it was a cold day as the wind was blowing a hoolie. Brrrrrrrr!
I enjoy John Gresham's books, too.
Hugs!
He is a good dog! We had a repeat for dinner last evening. I haven't read John Grisham is a long time. Thanks for the reminder. We are having snow today. I like the white.
ReplyDeleteSo, Good Dog "Little Wonder"...was he frozen to the ground?! Hahaha
