Great weather....nice and cool.  Got to hurry as the debate starts in 10 minutes.  Chores, bridge, Democratic picnic in the Town Park, chores and ready to see what's going to happen.

The Swooners Fan Club Met Today

Sunshine, rain, humidity and now it is cooling off.  Yay!

The boys are still coming in for a hay break.
Today 4 of us went out to the lake and took lunch to our pal Carol B.  Three weeks ago she had a hip replacement and we wanted to catch up.  Last October we had a big party featuring a Rochester band called the Swooners and the mother of the band leader gifted us a lunch out of appreciation.   Today was the day.  Listen to some of the videos (which you have probably already heard).  For 5 old ladies to bring in this band for the big bucks was a real treat to our community.  Anyway....we just may have to do it again.
Carol looked like a million bucks!  We ordered lunch at Kronys and picked it up on the way to the lake.
Had chicken salads and brownies topped with soft ice cream.
It was a little overcast, but beautiful.

As you can see, we are not experts at selfies!  Such a great afternoon.
Carol's daughter had a lift installed in their house so she could get up and down the stairs during her recovery.  This was her farewell today.  She is such an adorable gas!!!
Here is a reminder of the Swooner's music.  On July 11th they are going to open the Summer Serenades season down at the Welcome Center
Home after four...stopped at Wegmans on the way and picked up some spareribs that were on sale.

A simple, delicious dinner.

After chores this morning I got out my old John Deere and mowed this pasture.  So nice to have it back.

Buddy and Rebel were a little wet when they were tucked in.  Of course the gnats were out of control.

Night all.

Spa Day and Out To Lunch

Another coolish morning.

As soon as I put fly spray on Rebel he wanted to roll.

After chores I started mowing the lawn and Alice arrived for Spa Day at 10.  Rebel and Buddy are so fortunate to have the pleasure of being spoiled.

At first we took their masks off, but the gnats were so bad we put them back on.

Alice sure is more comfortable around the horses these days....and they love her.

My friend Jean, from St. Charles, Missouri,  was in town and she joined us for lunch at the Churchville Grill.  Alice has been talking about it for a long time and we finally got there.  What a nice find.  Good food and a sweet little place.

When we left there was a Tesla truck parked next to Alice's car.  So ugly!
I finished the lawn when I got back home.  Gary had yoga and lunch with his pals today.
You would think there has been a greenhouse covering the raised beds.  This cabbage is going to be something when it's fully grown.

Seeing that we were both out for lunch, dinner was simple.  Greens from the garden, cottage cheese, strawberries, blueberries and blackberries....plus a banana and walnuts.  A perfect power bowl.  Little Wonder had cottage cheese with his dinner too.
Chores at 8:15.

Once again, Buddy walked down the aisle to his old stall.

I wish I had the energy to chase the sunset tonight....a beauty in the making.

Night all.

PS
A friend played with one of my photos and sent me this one today.  I love it and plan to learn how to do this.
On top of that....the next photo showed up in my memories on FB.  It was taken in 1987.  Jenny, Sabine (our exchange student from Germany) and their pal Jenny A. in the background.  Such cuties!!!
They look like Charlie's Angels!
