So cold. Tomorrow a heat wave... we may hit 35!
A gorgeous sunrise.
Put hay in what would be a sunny spot shortly.
Again...they left it for the pasture.
Had lunch here with Mary Pat and then she dropped me off for bridge at Terry's. Right when I got there two squirrels were chowing on a pumpkin and they did not care if I was watching.
Needless to say (since we had not played with Terry since July) we had a lot of catching up to do.
The house was full of Christmas decorations and we had enough snacks for an army.....
ending with homemade cherry pie!
Back to the farm in time to go out and feed the boys.
After that it was time to sit by the fire, and then
I made Naan bread pizzas for dinner.
I think we are all ready for a nap.
Night all.
Yep, you sure have winter out there. A fire is so comforting, with the flames making good company as well as warmth. .A friend said that was the case, even when she didn't even need a fire, living by herself the fire was a comfort.
ReplyDeleteLooks chilly!
ReplyDeleteMy mules love pumpkins! They devour them!
Squirrels obviously do also. I bet they make some interesting chew holes in the pumpkin!
Enjoy your weekend.
The pumpkin was too important to allow a human to distract them! It's in the 20s today. Normal. But there is a warm up coming.
