What's It Going To Be?

Did you vote yet?

A record breaking day!  81 degrees.

After finishing chores I continued working on the stall I had been keeping hay in,  for the 3rd day.
I moved out pallets and put them in the feed room.  All the hay was in place.....
then I started knocking down the boards between the stalls.

Dumped them over the edge into the aisle so Gary can take out the nails and move them to the loft.
Swept down the walls and tried to get rid of all the cobwebs before adding some shavings.  Now Buddy is going to have an even bigger stall and I hope he likes it.
It was in the 70s and the horses were hot.
So was Little Wonder.

The farrier arrived at noon and the boys feet are looking good.

Now LW has befriended Jessy!  She has several dogs and is into agility with her Corgi.  He knows a dog person when he sees one!

By the time I finished the barn stuff I was ready to take it easy.  Gary had yoga, lunch with his pals and then a Summer Serenades meeting.  I was not in a dinner making mood.

I went out to do chores at 5 and could not wait to show Buddy his stall.
Those late afternoon skies have been unreal.

As soon as Buddy got in his stall he started exploring.

This is what's left of the mess and it should be cleaned up tomorrow.

I went down to Wegmans to pick up a few groceries and a sub for dinner.  Was disgusted to see Christmas decorations and all kinds of pine trees for sale.  Good grief!
The rest of my evening will be spent tuned in to the election results.  Let's see if common sense and decency prevail.
Night all.

  1. That larger stall will be so good, and the results, I, down here where it doesn't affect us anywhere as much as for you all up north, am wondering how the next years will plan out . It isn't looking like the result either you or I wanted.
